With almost 30,000 students in the eleven faculties and 1,700 academic staff members the University of Gdansk is the largest institute of higher education in the Pomeranian region.

The University of Gdansk’s educational offer includes almost forty major fields of study with over 180 specialisations as well as doctoral and post-graduate studies. Foreign students can study at the University of Gdansk either in the Polish or in the English language.
