Application

 

Non-European Economic Area (Non-EEA) applicants:

 

Non-EEA applicants are enrolled through the Foreign Students Office. Please visit the website http://international.ug.edu.pl or contact by e-mail fso@ug.edu.pl

 


European Economic Area (EEA) applicants:

 

The first step of admission procedure obligatory for all candidates from EEA is the registration through the system of Internet Candidates Application (IRK). Applicants may receive help at the Departmental Recruitment Commission. Please contact: komisjaek@ug.edu.pl.


For Bachelor Degree Program deadline for registration through the IRK platform is 9th September 2022.


For Master Degree Program deadline for registration through the IRK platform is 5th September 2022.

 

 

 

Requirements

 

1) Bachelor Degree Program:

 

  1. Diploma*
  2. Language certificate.
  3. Non-EU, non-EFTA, non-OECD citizens, photocopy of one of the documents listed below: passport; Card of the Pole (Karta Polaka); permanent residence card; formal decision on Polish origin; formal decision on refugee status granted by the Republic of Poland; formal decision on temporary protection in the territory of Poland; formal decision on subsidiary protection in the territory of Poland; long-term residence permit of the EU; document confirming the type and degree of kinship with Polish citizen (spouse/ascendant/descendant); Polish language certificate issued by PKPZJP (min. C1 level); formal decision in temporary residence permit on the basis of art. 159 sec.1 or art. 186 sec. 1 pt. 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013  on foreigners along with temporary residence card.
  4. EU, EFTA, OECD citizens: photocopy of passport or ID.
  5. NAWA decision granting the scholarship (NAWA scholars only).
  6.  Document confirming achievements in sport (if applicable).
  7. Confirmation of recruitment fee payment
  8. One recent, color photograph, 35 mm x 45 mm - passport photo.
  9. Application form, downloaded and printed from the IRK system, signed by the student. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2) Master Degree Program:

 

  1. Diploma*
  2. Language certificate.
  3.  Diploma

Candidates for bachelor (first cycle):

  • Polish matura exam results or International Baccalaureate or European Baccalaureate diploma or
  • Foreign High School diploma with transcript of records legalized by Polish Embassy holding an Office in the issuing country OR with an Apostille (if it was issued by an institution of the country that signed the Hague Convention) with translation to Polish (if applying for studies conducted in Polish) or English (if applying for studies conducted in English)
  • Recognition of Foreign High School diploma issued by Education Office in Poland*
  • Diplomas issued by EU, EFTA, OECD members or by countries having bilateral agreements with Poland, International Baccalaureate Diplomas and European Baccalaureate Diplomas do not require recognition

   NOTE: To have your grades converted to the Polish grading scale, please contact relevant office

 

Candidates for master (second cycle) studies:

  • Polish bachelor or master diploma or
  • Foreign bachelor diploma legalized by Polish Embassy holding an office in the issuing country OR with an Apostille (if it was issued by an institution of the country that signed the Hague Convention) with translation to Polish (if applying for studies conducted in Polish) or English (if applying for studies conducted in English)
  • Diploma supplement/ transcript of records with translation to Polish (if applying for studies conducted in Polish) or English (if applying for studies conducted in English)
